Tues – Fri: 1 – 5 p.m. (last admission at 4:30 p.m.)
Sa – Sun: 1 – 6 p.m. (last admission at 5:30 p.m.)
Closed on all official holidays!
We also offer for individual persons and groups, by request, tours at any time outside of the official opening hours.
Entrance fees (incl. special exhibit)

|Families (2 adults and max. 3 children): € 7,00|
|Registered groups from 10 persons:
School class, students 1,50
Free admission for children up to and including the age of 6
We offer especially for our young guests for 1,50 a rally (in German; with a small prize for successful solving)!
Photography (without flash and tripod and only for personal uses) is allowed in the permanent exhibit.
Way to us
The museum is on the corner of Regina-Pacis-Weg and Adenauerallee. The entrance is next to the Koblenz Gate, direction Rheine/”Alter Zoll”.

The entrance to the museum is unfortunately not barrier-free!
Parking garages near to the museum: University (currently closed), Markt, Hauptbahnhof (Central Station)
Tram Station: Universität/Markt (Lines 16, 63, 66) (Exit Stockentor) ca. 3 min. on foot
Bus and Tram (Lines 61, 62) Station: Central Station ca. 10 min. on foot
The stand at the entrance to the museum offers a wide selection of memories and small souvenirs:
One can find everything from painted papyri and postcards, jewelry and games to casts, scarabs, ushabtis and much more. A selection of books and information pamphlets are also attainable here. The shop is regularly supplied with souvenirs from Egypt.
